What we do

Childcare

It’s been a rollercoaster couple of years with low attendance since the pandemic, but now due to all our efforts working with various partners and organisations to find a solution and attract new families, we’re feeling very positive about the future. We’ve built on our before and after school activities along with our SEN activities, to support the need for flexible solutions for families and carers.

Youth programme, holiday and after school activities

We’re passionate about creating learning experiences for children to grow, make friends and feel part of their local community. We believe in the power of creative expression to improve mental health and wellbeing. We also work to prevent anti-social behaviour in local communities by empowering young people to make a difference and have a voice.

Adults and older people

Age should not be a barrier to positive experiences, so we do all we can to help people find their passion at any point in their life, even if that just be some good times with friendly people. The more focussed of these activities includes adults, who come along to learn new skills and make friends. We also run a regular Dementia Café and all of our staff are trained in dementia awareness.

Employability

We believe that work works, so the core of the support and advice we offer is aimed at improving peoples’ life circumstances by helping them to find volunteering, employment or financial support that is right for them.

Housing

We joined forces with NONDeT, to address the failing rental market reported by so many people. We've since taken over ownership of rental properties in North Ormesby and retail and residential properties in Thorntree and we continue to work with these residents to understand their needs to bring life back to these areas.

Support and guidance

We host talks, workshops and events based on topics people need support with, and often invite guest speakers to share information on these topics to help people learn the skills to independently sustain a healthy and safe lifestyle.

Room hire

We offer spaces to hire for people and organisations at a rate of £10 per hour, with the option to add tea and coffee for £5.
